First Annual Creative Collaborative Conference

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod presented the first annual Creative Collaborative Conference to an enthusiastic crowd at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Thursday, November 1, 2007. 

The conference featured presentations by Jay Critchely, the Harwich Junior Theatre, the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Cape Cod Opera, Cape Cod Art Association, Cape Cod Writers' Center, the Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School, Chatham Chorale, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, Breakdown Lane, LIFE, Inc., the Cotuit Center for the Arts, the Hyannis Main Street BID, The Guild of Fine Glass Artists, the Living Arts Institute, the Town of Barnstable, and THRIVE.

Four new annual awards were instituted, in the categories of:

• Collaborative Arts Project of the Year - Provincetown Art Association and Museum
• Arts Educator of the Year - Carl Lopes, Barnstable High School
• Community Leadership in Support of the Arts - Martin Tulloch, Falmouth Cultural Council
• Lifetime Acheivement Award - Harry Holl, Scargo Pottery
